SUMMARY:Great local partnership provides free food to disadvantaged people 
 Sydney northern beaches.
DESCRIPTION:Every Thursday Balgowlah Lions Club volunteers join with One Me
 al volunteers to provide free food to disadvantaged people . Registration 
 is necessary. All welcome.\nThe venue is Beverley Job Park\, Narraweena ( 
 behind the Oval ). The time 3.15 pm to 4.30 pm.\nLions Balgowlah volunteer
 s cook the meat on their Barbecue Trailer. Every week one Lions member ser
 ves the food and supervises the several One Meal volunteers who also do a 
 great job serving the food.\nOne Meal provides the meat\, bread \, fruit \
 , salads\, juice plus hot soup in Winter. The food served is donated free 
 to One Meal by many generous businesses in Sydney northern beaches .\nOne 
 Meal volunteers collect the food from our donors. \nOnce a week volunteers
  collect unsold bread from  Retailers . Donated clothing and groceries are
  stored at the One-Meal warehouse and offered free to the needy.\nThe ware
 house is generously provided to One Meal rent-free.
