Give Now Lions Australia Flood Appeal

THE Australian Lions Foundation has launched a national appeal to help Lions volunteers across the country provide emergency support to flood-affected communities.
Anyone looking to donate and support those affected by the floods can do so through Lions Club of Balgowlah Lions Club, or by donating to the Australian Lions Foundation — see below.

Australian Lions Foundation chairperson Tony Benbow OAM said as eastern Australia braced for more rainfall, volunteers were needed “more than ever” to help communities.
“We know the road to recovery is a long one after a disaster,” Mr Benbow said.
“Every dollar raised will be sent directly to Lions Clubs on the ground in affected communities to provide emergency support those impacted. “We are able to quickly identify those who require assistance and find the best and most efficient ways of supporting those people and communities.”

Lions Australia, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary, raised and distributed $1.9 million in flood support in 2021.
